You give us personal information when registering with us, or by corresponding with us by phone, e-mail or otherwise. The information you give us may include your name, address, e- mail address and phone number.

• In the investigation and/or defence of potential complaints, disciplinary proceedings and legal proceedings.
• To enable us to invoice you for our services as necessary.
• To notify you about changes to our services.
• To fulfil our legal obligations including money laundering and identification checks.
• To provide you with information about offers and services we offer that may be of interest to you.
• WE DO NOT share your information for Third Party Marketing Purposes (Sell your Information).

We will only retain your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it is collected. To assess the required retention period we will consider:

• The purposes for which we collected the data & the requirements of our business.
• The types & amount of data collected.

By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. Priory Close Vets will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.

Data deletion:

Under GDPR you have the right to have your data erased under specific circumstances. Any requests for personal data to be deleted must be made in writing and will be decided on a case by case basis.

We have put reasonable and appropriate measures in place to prevent your personal data being accidently lost, used, accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. Your data may be processed by any authorised Priory Close Vets employee. In the event of a suspected data security breach Priory Close Vets will notify you and any applicable regulator where we are legally required to.

Data Inspection:

Priory Close Vets strives to be as open as possible in terms of giving people access to their personal data. A Subject Access Request under the GDPR is your right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. Such requests must be in writing to the contact details provided in this policy. If we do hold your personal data we will respond in writing within one calendar month of your request (where that request was submitted in accordance with this policy). You will need to provide identification in order to access your data.

The information we supply will:
• Confirm the categories of personal date being held & processed.
• Verify the purpose of the processing.
• Confirm the type of recipient to whom the data has been, or will be, disclosed.
• Provide you with a copy of the data.

The above information can be provided in verbal or written form, according to your wishes. If we do not hold any information about you we will confirm this in writing.

Changes:

This privacy policy is regularly reviewed and you should check back regularly to make sure you are aware of any changes. This policy will always comply with the GDPR.
You have the right to withdraw your consent to our processing your personal data at any time.
The withdrawal of consent does not affect the legality of earlier processing but does mean we will be unable to continue to provide services to you. Even if you withdraw your consent it may remain lawful for us to process your data if we have a legal obligation to do so.
